How do I get started?

Getting Started is EASY! Simply call us at (231)645-6458 or contact us through the
“Contact Us Anytime!” box provided to your right and also found in the same location of each page throughout our site. We’ll be very happy to answer any questions you have about our services, and schedule a complimentary “Meet & Greet” appointment with you and your pets at your home or vacation rental property.

What services do you offer?

We provide professional dog sitting visits, cat sitting visits, and dog walking visits on an hourly, daily, weekly, monthly or annual basis.

What areas do you service?

We service the greater Traverse City, Michigan area including, Traverse City, Interlochen, Grawn, Greilickville and Acme.

What pets do you care for?

We specialize in “Whiskers” … dog and cats. However, we also have expertise to care for other domestic and farm animals. Please contact us to learn more about our extended services.

How do I pay for service?

We accept Cash or Check. We require prepayment of all services at time of booking which is typically during the complimentary “Meet & Greet” Consultation appointment.

What are your general policies? How does it work?

A complimentary “Meet & Greet” consultation appointment will take place in YOUR home before any pet sitting job begins. This gives us (the sitter) the opportunity to get aquainted with your pets, and the pets get to know us and become familiar. Some pets are friendlier than others, and the ones that aren’t as friendly at first will have that time to sniff and approve of us coming into their territory. During this initial consultation, all forms will be filled out and keys will be provided to us for access while you are away.

All clients will be required to sign a Service Request which outlines exactly what services are being requested, what fees will be charged and the specific dates these services are needed. There is also a Veterinary Instructions and Release form that will be signed in case of an unforeseen emergency while you are away.

Please have a key ready during the initial “Meet & Greet” consultation. All keys are coded and locked in the office. If you decide to use our service on a continuing basis, you can leave your key on file with us for your future convenience. If you prefer to have the key returned after the service, we will do so at our earliest opportunity. We will not leave your key inside your home, in case you are delayed in returning and your pet needs more care. Please call, text or email us when you do return home, so we know you’ve returned safely from your time away and your pets are back in your safe and loving care.

What is your cancellation policy?

In order to best serve your needs and the needs of all our clients, the strict cancellation policy is as follows:

Cancellations are subject to a minimum one (1) week cancellation period to receive a 100% REFUND; Less Than one (1) week, but more than 72 hour cancellation period to receive a 100% CREDIT FORWARD; Less than 72 hour cancellation period will receive CREDIT FORWARD, less the contracted fee for the first two (2) days.

Cancellations with less than one (1) week notice for HOLIDAY WEEKS or SPRING BREAK WEEK will receive a CREDIT FORWARD, less the contracted fee for the first four (4) days.

Cancellation period begins the first day and time of the contracted pet-sitting service period.

Are you fully insured to protect my home and my pets?

Yes, we are fully insured through Travelers Insurance (Maurers-Foster Pet Sitters Expanded Plan) for your ultimate protection. Plus, we have a ‘Certificate of Persons Conducting Business Under Assumed Name’ document on file with the State of Michigan Grand Traverse County Clerk.

Are gratiuty tips acceptable and appreciated?

Yes, If/When you are pleased with our services provided (which we are confident you and your pet(s) will be), gratuity tips are always welcomed and very much appreciated!
